ARTISTRY CONCEPTS IS A TATTOO STUDIO, BASED IN ENGLEWOOD, FLORIDA. IN 2009 MARK WESTON, OWNER OF ARTISTRY CONCEPTS, BEGAN OFFERING A TATTOO SERVICE UNDER THE BANNERS OF “HAIR REPLICATION” AND “THE HYBRID METHOD”.
Since then Artistry Concepts, headed by Mark Weston and Gale Hartvigsen, claim to have ‘improved’ their tattooing treatment by calling it “ACHM” and subsequently the “ACHM 2″. Other names such as “Hair Replication” and “Hybrid Method” continue to be used.
Unfortunately due to the limited period of time that Mark Weston has been offering such treatments, no one knows the long term effects of his pigments, and of course whether or not his pigments will withstand the color change which occurs with regular tattoo ink over time. HIS do not use regular tattoo inks, primarily for this reason.
In addition, we are aware that some of our case study photographs have been published on Artistry Concepts website and claimed as their own work. Conversely, photographs have also been published by Artistry Concepts of poor quality results that Mark Weston claims we are responsible for. Correcting the work of other ‘experts’
Due to the success of the MHT procedure there have been many copycat practitioners springing up all over the place and preying on the insecurities of hair loss sufferers. Quite a lot of work we carry out at HIS Hair Clinic is corrective work, after the client had originally gone elsewhere due to cost or location being their deciding factor.
Above you can see a photo of Raphael, a prime example of one of many cases like this that we encounter on an alarmingly regular basis. Unfortunately we have seen evidence to suggest that those companies seeking to emulate our technique are not always honest when handing out information and advice about their services.

MHT is not some fad treatment at the testing and development stage. MHT has been perfected and genuine treatments are ONLY carried out by HIS Hair Clinics. We DO NOT do scalp shading. Each hair follicle is individually replicated to create an incredibly realistic simulation of micro looking hairs on the scalp, that even on close inspection, are virtually indistinguishable from real hair.
