Sash’s treatment (above) is the perfect example of how the MHT technique can enhance a hair transplant procedure. It is common for a transplant patient to have insufficient donor hair for effective coverage. In Sash’s case, we applied MHT beneath his transplanted hair to provide a fuller, more natural look.

Andrew (above) already had a very defined hairline, but when it started to recede, he reacted early by asking us to recreate his frontal hair and bring his hairline slightly forward. The scar remained untreated at Andrews request.
Please note some of the photos on this page were taken immediately after MHT™ scalp pigmentation treatment. In some cases natural finished results can take approximately seven days for the skin to start and heal, the hairlines to soften and for the redness on the scalp to fully disappear.
Case Study – Taz
Taz first started to lose his hair when he was just 27 years old, with no family history of male pattern baldness or alopecia, and with no warning. Taz became extremely self-conscious after seeing some photographs at a party and realising that the balding guy in the photos was actually him!

Case Study – Andrew
Not all clients who come to HIS Hair Clinic suffer from severe hair loss. Andrew has a very defined hairline, and when it started to recede, he decided to take immediate action. Case Study – Vince
In common with many of our clients, Vince started to lose his hair very early in his life, at just 20 years of age. Before contacting us at HIS Hair Clinic Vince had already tried Minoxidil and Finasteride but was dissatisfied with the results. He had also been using DermMatch, a temporary concealer product for 8 years before he found us. Vince is really pleased with the results, and has shared his experience in our forum.
Case Study – Jang
Jang came to HIS Hair Clinic after suffering from Male Pattern Baldness at quite an early stage in life. Read his forum post here. Case Study – Edward
Edward is amongst a growing number of Middle Eastern clients choosing HIS Hair Clinic, to help combat their hair loss problem. Edward started to lose his hair rapidly and without warning when he was just in his mid-twenties. After trying everything from topical lotions to pills, and eventually hair transplant surgery, Edward underwent a simple scalp pigmentation procedure, that has quite literally, turned his life around. Case Study – Chris
Chris was suffering from a classic case of male pattern baldness, except he was losing hair at an unusually rapid rate. We used the MHT technique to cover his bald areas and give the areas that still had some hair a thicker, fuller, darker look. Chris has posted in our forum if you’d like to read his verdict.
Case Study – Jazz
Jazz had a hair transplant a number of years ago. From the before photo you can see where the transplanted hair still grows, but he was losing further hair which is very typical. The transplant hair continues to grow but the rest falls out leaving the scarring on the scalp more exposed, and creating a look of thinning hair and patches on the scalp.
HIS Hair Clinic completely restyled Jazz. We have cut his hair shorter and treated the top of his scalp in between the transplanted hair. This has the effect of a giving Jazz a full head of hair and covers the previously visible scared scalp and thinning hair. Jazz is really pleased with the final results.

Case Study – Warren
When hair loss became a major problem for Warren he chose to undergo hair transplant surgery to cover his baldness. Unfortunately as often happens with surgery, the procedure left Warren with severe scarring to the back of the head, which was detrimental to his confidence. Case Study – Geoff
Geoffs hair loss experience followed a fairly familiar pattern. Geoff started receding in his mid twenties but ignored the problem, hoping it would go away. In this early thirties, Geoff finally decided that he had to do something because losing his hair was affecting his confidence.

Case Study – Carter
Carter is a confident lad who found out first hand how hair loss can affect self-esteem. His first brush with hair loss happened when his barber commented that he was thinning on top. That started a cycle of worry and self-image issues that resulted in the use of various different solutions including Propecia and Minoxidil and later, temporary concealers DermMatch and Nanogen.

Case Study – Tomas
Tomas came to us for a reason quite different to most of our customers. For some time he had been shaving his head and was quite happy as he’d gotten used to the look. Case Study – Mr Kahn
Mr Kahn visited our Birmingham clinic for a consultation. At just 40 years old, Mr Kahn had been suffering from hair loss for over 7 years. Following his MHT treatment, he has just been interviewed by the Birmingham Post newspaper for an article that will also soon appear in our Press section.
Case Study – Richard
In common with many of our customers, Richard came to us as he wanted to cover a scar caused by hair transplant surgery. Case Study – Dwayne
Dwayne came to us back in 2008 after feeling uncomfortable with his hair loss problem. He was a little apprehensive before the treatment but immediately felt good about his new look. Please note that the above photos were taken immediately following treatment, and the defined side profiles and hairline softened during the 2-3 days following his session. Case Study – Aaron
Aaron came to us whilst studying at the Imperial College in London, after suffering from premature hair loss that started when he was just a teenager. Someone he knew had already been treated with the MHT technique and having had some bad experiences with temporary concealers, Aaron decided to follow suit. Case Study – Raj
Raj came to us after wearing a hair replacement system (a wig) continuously for over 3 years. As you can see from the photographs, the skin on his scalp had been damaged quite extensively by the adhesive used to hold the wig in place. Following treatment, the redness of his scalp slowly faded away and returned to normal. Raj has also just started posting in our forum.
Case Study – Shakeel
Shakeel underwent an MHT treatment with HIS Hair Clinic after we arranged for him to meet one of our previous customers who had also had the treatment. Shakeel was impressed enough to follow suit and had his own treatment shortly after. He’s posted about his experience in our forum.
Case Study – Eddie
Eddie came to us when his hair loss problem began to make him feel past his sell-by date. Feeling old before your time is a common occurance amongst hair loss sufferers, however Eddie now feels years younger. He has also posted an additional photograph in our forum.
Case Study – Adam
Adam came to us not because of a hair loss problem, but because his hair grew in a rather unusual pattern. His sideburns did not grow at all, and his rear hairline finished about half way down his skull. Whilst cases like this are not very common, the MHT technique offered Adam the ideal solution as he was able to specify exactly where he wanted his hairline to be. Case Study – Howard
Howard originally had a hair tattoo treatment in the United States where he was based at the time, to cover up his receding hairline. Unfortunately the treatment provided was inadequate and his hairline started fading fairly quickly, something that would never have happened if the procedure had been carried out correctly. To make matters worse, after relocating to the UK Howard asked a regular tattoo artist to touch-up a couple of areas of his scalp, leaving Howard with a very dissatisfactory result.
We re-aligned Howards hairline and re-worked the areas that hadn’t been treated correctly. Now Howard is really pleased with his appearance and has posted his experience on our forum.

Case Study – Jason
Jason came to HIS Hair Clinic following hair transplant surgery that had left him with significant scarring. After starting to lose his hair at just 16 years old, the FUE transplant had left Jason with a large number of pink scars, so we set about camouflaging his entire scalp area using the MHT technique. We also levelled his hairline to give him a fresh, clean look. Read his story here.
Case Study – Andrew
Following hair transplant surgery, Andrew was left with a fair amount of scarring and dark patches on his scalp. The after photo was taken during the MHT treatment and already gives an indication of how Andrews scalp and scarring will be camouflaged. Andrew has now returned back home to Dubai, and needless to say he is delighted with his scalp pigmentation treatment and has promised to add a thread on our forum soon.
Case Study – Nigel
Nigel wore a hair replacement system for a year before he decided enough was enough. He felt uncomfortable wearing a wig and the maintenance involved didn’t fit with his lifestyle, having to go back to the specialist every four weeks. Nigel also felt that wearing a wig was unhygienic and needed a better solution. Following his MHT treatment, Nigel now posts in our forum.
Case Study – Calvin
Calvin came to us from the United States in 2007 after the hair on his crown started thinning out. Calvin has promised to visit our forum and post his experience but in the meantime, this is a quote from an email he sent us recently, used with his permission:
“One of these days I’ll get round to posting in your forum! It’s just that I never have to worry about my hair loss anymore, so I don’t feel the need to spend time in forums talking about the problem! Thanks for jogging my memory though, I promise I’ll post soon. In the meantime I wish you continued success, you guys deserve it”.
Case Study – Kris
Being very conscious of his thinning hair, Kris used to use hair dye to make the small amount of hair he had appear thicker. Kris is no longer insecure about his hair and is really pleased with the results.
Case Study – Jeff
Following hair transplant surgery, Jeff was left with pink scarring and a lot of patches from where his new hairline was transplanted to where his existing hair still grows. We applied the MHT technique to completely camouflage this scarring and improve his new hairline. You can find his own account of the MHT experience here.
Case Study – Kumar
Kumar still had a small amount of hair growth when he came to HIS for treatment. By applying the MHT technique, we were able to tidy up his hairline and fill the gaps caused by his thinning hair. Kumars hair now looks thicker, denser and darker and he’s really pleased with the results.
Case Study – Sheb
Sheb was quite conscious of his thinning hair so he bought a hair replacement system to cover up his hair loss. Unfortunately the adhesives used to hold the wig in place caused significant skin damage, leaving him with a scarred hairline and further skin damage on his crown. Following his MHT treatment, Sheb no longer uses hair replacement systems and loves his new look. He regularly posts in our forum.
Case Study – Paul
Paul came to us in 2005 having lost a significant portion of his natural hair. Following consultation we applied the MHT technique to give him a sharp, clean look and shave years off his appearance. You can read his forum post here.
Case Study – Chris B
Chris came to us with significant scarring following a FUE hair transplant procedure. You can quite clearly see the scars on the back of his hair in the form of lots of small dots. This scarring made it impossible for Chris to feel comfortable having the short cropped hairstyle that he always wanted. Chris said to us during his consultation, “Considering the many thousands of dollars I’ve spent, I can’t believe how much scarring I have. Had I have known the scarring would be this bad I wouldn’t have had a hair transplant”.
Chris has had two MHT sessions and now his transplant scars are almost completely camouflaged.
Case Study – Jono
Jono had his MHT treatment because he wanted to lose his receded hairline. Jono also asked us not to camouflage the scar across the top of his head. It is not unusual for clients to make specific requests, and we can usually accommodate them provided they are in the clients best interests.
Case Study – Dani
Dani has been watching our progess for well over 12 months and registered on our forum in April 09 under the name of Sundayhd. Dani finally came to us for HIS treatment in February 2010, he was our first Israeli client. We’re not quite sure exactly how the word is spreading but since his treatment we’ve received many more enquiries from clients in Israel.
Dani wanted to do something about his receding hairline, so we implemented scalp pigmentation to give him a sharp, clean and far younger look.
Case Study – Joey
Joey came to HIS Hair Clinic with severe scarring following a hair transplant procedure. We helped Joey camouflage this scarring by applying MHT to the whole of his crown and hairline. The look now appears very natural, and at Joeys request we left his hairline in a fairly receded position to suit his age and preference.
Case Study – Scot
As with many of our clients, Scot came to us following a hair transplant surgical procedure with significant scarring to his scalp. Using Micro Hair Tattooing we were able to hide virtually 100% of the scarring. Scot is now much happier and has regained his confidence. Read his story here.
