Hair Loss Treatment for Men
MHT® scalp pigmentation treatment is an innovative hair loss treatment for men, leaving you looking as if you have real hair. You believe you have hair and so does everyone else

The MHT® hair loss treatment for men provides an ideal solution, for many men suffering from hair loss. Of the solutions available, few are as immediate, permanent, realistic, hassle-free, non-invasive and cost-effective as the MHT® technique.
Like many men, you may have already had some form of hair loss treatment, yet remain dissatisfied with the results. For example, many of our clients approach us as they’re unhappy with a hair system or wig and want to remove it, possibly for hygiene reasons or damage caused to the scalp by the adhesives used to hold the system in place. Perhaps you’ve had hair transplant surgery and there was insufficient donor hair to cover the required area, or you’ve been left with scarring that you would prefer to be camouflaged. Maybe you’ve been taking medication and have been experiencing unacceptable side-effects.
If you would like to do something about your hair loss, please continue reading. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
What is the MHT® hair loss treatment for men?
MHT® scalp pigmentation is a highly sophisticated treatment, that creates an incredibly natural looking simulation of micro hairs on the scalp.
For sufferers of regular hair loss or another form of alopecia, MHT® offers an effective cosmetic hair loss solution. Competent application of the MHT® technique results in the appearance of a short, cropped hairstyle, regardless of your current hair loss situation. Even clients who are completely bald can have a natural looking hairstyle again.
The MHT® technique involves no surgery, no scarring and no hair pieces. Very little ongoing maintenence is required, although many of our clients do return to our clinic from time to time following treatment to adapt their new style. Our consultations and treatments are backed by our unrivalled knowledge and experience of the scalp pigmentation process, and our world-leading client aftercare and support programme.
For further information about our hair loss treatment for men technique and the process, see our MHT® Technique page.
How can the MHT® hair loss treatment for men technique be applied?
MHT® can be used effectively to treat all types of hair loss in men, including thinning hair, lost hairlines and lost sideburns or side profiles. The technique is applied differently depending on your circumstances. The most common MHT® applications are detailed below:
-

Receding hair
MHT® is an ideal solution for those experiencing natural hair loss. Usually caused by a condition called Male Pattern Baldness, the ‘horseshoe’ effect is common where the hairline is pushed backwards, particularly on each side of the frontal hairline. MHT® enables the hairline to be redefined, resulting in a natural, more youthful appearance.
For case studies where we have applied the MHT® technique to cover a receding hairline please see our Gallery.

Balding of the crown
Another common form of Male Pattern Baldness is where hair loss is most prevalent on the top of the head towards the crown. Of all the many forms of hair loss in men, a balding crown is arguably the one that has the most significant effect on a persons perceived age. Again, MHT® offers the ideal solution by making the hair on the head appear more evenly distributed, camouflaging baldness and producing a new, younger looking style.
For relevant case studies, see our Gallery.

Complete hair loss
The onset of hair loss in men often happens very quickly indeed, or in other cases can take years to affect the entire scalp. We regularly treat clients who have no hair left at all, and it is in such cases that our clients notice the most dramatic difference not only to their appearance, but also their confidence and self-esteem. By not having any existing hair, these clients have a wide variety of options available to create exactly the appearance they want to achieve.

Hair loss caused by alopecia
Alopecia can indiscriminately affect any area of the scalp, often in several areas of varying sizes and with varying severity. The onset of hair loss is often sudden, random and frequently recurrent. Prior to MHT® there was no real alopecia treatment available. It is important to note that alopecia is not detrimental to a persons health, however it can have a significant impact on their confidence.
At HIS Hair Clinics we have an excellent track record of treating clients suffering from many forms of alopecia. For more information please see our alopecia treatment section.

Camouflaging scars
We treat many clients who wish to cover scars, most commonly following a hair transplant procedure. Such procedures often leave scarring, therefore we offer MHT® to clients following surgery either retrospectively, or as a planned compliment once the surgery is complete and the scars have had the opportunity to heal. For more information please see our scar camouflage section.
For case studies where we have applied the MHT® technique to cover hair transplant scars please see our Gallery.
Fundamentally, our MHT® hair loss treatment for men can be applied to any area of skin that has shed hair for whatever reason. We have treated hundreds of customers from all over the world, and we are yet to find a situation where we have been unable to provide a solution.

What results can you expect from MHT®?
The MHT® hair loss treatment for men technique is designed to replicate real hair, worn in a cropped or close-shaved hairstyle. Whilst we do our best to demonstrate our results via photographs on this website, we often arrange for prospective clients to meet those we have already treated. This enables the client to see the results for themselves.
This site features a full Gallery, Video Library and a Case Studies section to showcase our results. We respect our clients right to privacy, therefore we only display such content on our site with our clients permission. In these sections, you will be able to view the results based on all client skin types including pale white, tanned, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Asian, Oriental, African and Afro-Caribbean.
Many of our past clients still haven’t told their friends, family and work colleagues that they’ve had the treatment performed, and usually they have no intention of doing so. We have numerous clients who haven’t even told their partners.
Whatever your circumstances or desired outcome, our aim is to meet your individual expectations and we measure our success based on your satisfaction. We are perfectionists when it comes to hair loss solutions, working with you to achieve a natural, modern style that suits you. We provide excellent advice, treatment, aftercare guidance and support throughout to ensure that you are looked after every step of the way.

Is MHT® the right solution for you?
If you suffer from hair loss and have decided to take action, there is a huge range of solutions available, including hair systems, concealers, lotions, supplements and hair transplant surgery. The majority of our clients have tried a number of these solutions before they contact us, yet remain dissatisfied with the results they achieved.
We believe our MHT® hair loss treatment for men, offers a solution that should be seriously considered versus other options:
Hair transplant surgery
A surgical procedure using donor hair from other parts of the body. Can be painful following surgery and can produce scar tissue, depending on the type of procedure.
Hair Systems
Often called hairpieces, systems or units, a wig provides an instant solution, however they do require maintenance which can be expensive. Some users find hair systems difficult to live with, feeling that the inability to remove them at will can cause concerns about hygiene. There is also a social stigma attached to the wearing of wigs, and many users live in fear of being ‘found out’.
Concealers
Spray-on, shake-on or brush-on concealers for hair loss is a multi-billion pound marketplace worldwide, but fundamentally none of these products offer a permanent solution. Depending on the product bought, many can be rained off, sweated off or inadvertently brushed off. That said, temporary concealers have come a long way since their introduction, and are significantly better than they used to be.
Lotions and supplements
There is a huge range of topical lotions, supplements and pills available, each claiming their own set of benefits. Whether or not they work is a matter of personal opinion, as results vary considerably from one person to the next. Potential side effects should also be a consideration, as a large proportion of users have experienced anything from a slightly itchy scalp to reduced semen production and erectile dysfunction.
When choosing a solution for your hair loss problem, only you can decide what is the right option to take. Consider any maintenance commitments, how the solution may affect your lifestyle, what degree of intervention you’re willing to tolerate, and of course the cost before deciding one way or another, as your decision is one you will have to live with.
