On the 15th October, hundreds of facial hair fanatics gathered in Liverpool
for the British Beard and Moustache Championships.
Sporting impressively well-groomed designs, the hopefuls competed in 20 different categories. The competition was open to everyone, with special categories for women
and even children.
Considered one of the biggest celebrations of facial hair in the world, contestants were treated to number of impressive after parties. Even those without a beard were invited to tag along and witness some of the weirdest, spectacular facial hair displays in the globe.
An event that just keeps growing
The British Beard and Moustache Championships started out in Brighton in 2012. It proved to be a sell-out, with £2416 raised and split between Macmillan Cancer Support and Martlets Hospice. Its success led to it becoming an annual event, each year drawing in more facial hair enthusiasts than the last.
This year, just some of the popular categories included Amish/Whaler, Fake and Musketeer. The talent on show was remarkable and enough to make any man green with envy. If you’re jealous of the flowing facial hair the championship had to offer, why not consider a facial hair transplant
Helping you achieve the beard of your dreams
Facial hair transplants have rocketed in popularity over the past couple of years. Enabling you to get the beard, goatee, moustache or sideburns of your dreams, facial hair transplants are costly but effective. Only one procedure is typically required and hair is taken from either the sides or back of the scalp.
The great thing about facial hair transplants is that they offer a permanent solution. It’s a fantastic option for men who struggle to grow facial hair and offers instant results. The texture and look of the hair is very similar to natural facial hair and you can shave it without fear of it disappearing.
Overall, facial hair transplants are a good option for men who are frustrated with not being able to grow a championship winning beard, moustache or goatee. It may seem expensive, but when you consider the results are permanent, it is definitely worth the cost.
