As of the 31st April 2016 our email services are being hosting on the “Cloud” meaning its offsite. The main reason for this is for future proofing our IT Infrastructure and increasing reliability and redundancy.

Accessing via any internet:

You can access the new system via Microsoft Outlook on a PC or via the internet here: your username is your email address. You can access the old system here: with either your old password or the same as your new password. Please do NOT sent emails from the old system. This will only be accessible for 1 week, during this time your old emails will be migrated to the new system.

Setting up Outlook on a PC:

Firstly if you are already using Microsoft Outlook you will need to create a new profile, to do this Open up the Control Panel then click the “Mail” Application: Open Control Panel by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. Screen Shot 2016-03-29 at 17.27.34 Next you need to create a new profile: Screen Shot 2016-03-29 at 17.27.43 Click “Add”: (Ensure Prompt for profile to be used) is selected or the new profile you are creating is set as the “Always use this profile” Screen Shot 2016-03-29 at 17.27.56 Enter a profile name and click “OK”: Screen Shot 2016-03-29 at 17.28.16 Now enter your Name, Email Address and Password then click “Next”: Please note: If you are having issues when entering your password where outlook does not accept your password you will need to ensure outlook is running the latest version that can be downloaded here: Microsoft Outlook 2010 SP2 Update you will need to restart your computer then continue where you left off. Screen Shot 2016-03-29 at 17.24.27 Once the configuration is complete ensure the tick box labelled “Manually configure server settings” below is checked then click “Next”: Screen Shot 2016-03-29 at 17.25.45 Ensure the check box labelled  “Use Cached Exchange Mode” is Unchecked then click “Finish”: Screen Shot 2016-03-29 at 17.26.05 Microsoft Outlook should now continue to open and your mailbox should now appear.  

Setting up on iPhone:

One benefit of the new setup is that it requires very little information to access your account. On your iPhone, go to “Settings” > “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” > “Add Account” Select “Exchange” ios7-exchange Then enter your email address, password and “HIS Office 365” as the Description then click “Next” Your email account should now be shown after you select what you would like to add.
